El evento, el segundo en su tipo que organizó la Asociación de Periodistas de la Televisión y la Radiofonía Argentinas (Aptra), se realizó en la Usina del Arte, en el barrio porteño de La Boca, y fue televisado en vivo por América tv.
Valeria Mazza y Ángel de Brito fueron los conductores de la velada en tanto que Florencia De La V y Guido Zaffora llevaron adelante la alfombra roja.
